almost ready is built and operated by Claudia Ondecker, an individual developer based in New Jersey, United States ("we" / "us"). This policy explains what data the almost ready iOS app collects, why, where it lives, and how to remove it.
Only what you give us:
We don't collect your contacts, location, photos, calendar, microphone, camera, or anything outside the app.
Your data is stored on Supabase, a managed Postgres host. It's scoped to your account — no one else can read your tasks. We don't copy it to other services, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't sell it. Ever.
Internally, your account is identified by a unique ID generated by Supabase. It links your tasks to your account but isn't personally identifying on its own.
Subscription billing is handled by Apple and a payment processor called RevenueCat, which tells us only whether your subscription is active — not your card details, name, or billing address.
We don't track you across apps or websites. We don't use the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, or any third-party analytics that follow you elsewhere.
We do use two services that help us keep the app running:
Neither service uses this data for advertising. We use it only to fix bugs and understand which features matter.
The only other network calls the app makes are to Supabase (to sync your own data) and to Apple (for push notifications you've opted into).
If you turn on notifications, the app schedules reminders locally on your device. Apple sees the timing, but the message contents stay on your phone. You can turn this off in iOS Settings or in the Profile tab.
For Live Activities (the persistent card on your Lock Screen during a getting-ready session), we send minimal state to Apple's Push Notification service so the card stays in sync. This payload contains your current task name and timing — no email, no personal identifiers beyond a per-session token Apple controls.
almost ready has two share features. Both are opt-in — nothing leaves your phone unless you tap a share button.
You can delete your account from Profile → "Delete my account." That removes your tasks, completions, templates, saved steps, preferences, and your sign-in record. It is permanent and immediate.
Backups held by Supabase for disaster recovery are rotated within 30 days, after which no copy of your data remains.
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws, you have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. The in-app "Delete my account" flow covers most of these. For anything else, email us and we'll do it by hand.
almost ready is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.
If we change anything material here, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify active users in-app. For minor wording fixes, we just update the date.
Email privacy@almost-ready.app. We answer.
